Hi, I'm Dr. Smith!

My journey into this work has always been rooted in a deep curiosity about people and their stories, their strengths, and the ways in which we all make sense of the world around us. As a clinical psychologist, I’ve had the privilege of specializing in psychological testing and neurodevelopmental assessments across the lifespan, working with children, adolescents, and adults to bring clarity to complex questions, in addition to therapeutic services.

 

My professional experience spans both the United States and the Caribbean, including work and exposure within the Turks and Caicos Islands. These experiences have allowed me to engage with individuals and families across diverse cultural and systemic contexts, deepening my understanding of how environment, access, and culture shape the way mental health and developmental needs are expressed and supported. Alongside assessment, I also value the role of therapeutic support—creating space for individuals to process, heal, and feel understood in ways that are both practical and deeply affirming.

Beyond my professional role, I am a wife and a proud mother of two, including my amazing Au-some child who continues to shape how I see the world, with patience, perspective, and a deeper appreciation for neurodiversity. My personal experiences have strengthened my commitment to this work and allow me to connect with families in a way that feels real and relatable. When I’m not working, I enjoy traveling, eating good food, and getting lost in good music.
